Tristan Harvey’s interest in oral expression started at a very young age, when his father would read him storybooks and comics, taking a different voice for every character. Soon enough, he decided to read those stories himself, to his father who witnessed, surprised and amused, to this parade of characters. As he loves repeating, it is at this age that sprouted a vague idea ; one day he would love to do dubbing.
Later, he discovered that theatre, as an art of expression, really matched his personality. He took dramatic art courses at Lasalle Conservatory , as well as in Danielle Fichaud’s Ateliers. Nevertheless, the idea of dubbing never left him, he decided to pursue his formation at Parlimage, a school specialised in the field. Very soon, he started to lend his voice to commercials and narrating documentaries. After getting recognized by a few stage directors, he lands a role dubbing the series Cold Squad, he then gets a lead role, Jesse Bradford in Les Horlogers du temps, all in less than a year of graduating.
His career is then launched. He dubs many characters, notably those of Seth Rogen, Ricky Gervais, Kevin James and more recently Leonardo Dicaprio in The Wolf of Wallstreet and The Revenant as well as Benedict Cumberbatch in Doctor Strange by Disney.
In addition, he became the official voice of francophone television (TV5 channel). We can also hear him on television, in documentaries and in commercials.
