Actor, singer and musician, Myriam Fournier is an artist who divides her career between the musical, theatrical, television and cinematographic scenes. Since coming out of the Conservatoire de théâtre of Montréal in 2008, she has more than 30 productions to her resume. Amongst others, she has participated in the creations of Sébastien Dodge, Jean-Simon Traversy, Gabrielle Lessard, Robert Lepage, René-Richard Cyr and Mathieu Quesnel. As well as those of Théâtre du Futur, Théâtre Le Clou, Théâtre PàP and Théâtre Hors Taxes.
In addition to many publicity campaigns, we often see her on television. She plays the role of very vivid Krystelle Robidoux, in the series Faits Divers 4 broadcasted on Radio-Canada in 2021. A role for which she was nominated as Best Supporting Female Role in a Drama Series, at the 36th Gala des prix Gémeaux. She plays main roles in the short films Pour vrai, directed by Mara Joly and Dans l’ombre directed by David Émond-Ferrat and often participates in movies by Denis Côté.
In 2022, Myriam performs the role of the sales and marketing director of the Hôtel Dumont, in the new series: Hôtel, on TVA. She plays Marie-Michelle in the acclaimed series Avant le crash, broadcasted on Radio-Canada as well as the role of Magalie in the Mégantic series. We can also see her in the new series Sorcières on TVA and Belle-mère.
In her music career, she sings and plays guitar in duo with Sébastien Dodge, they worked together in the band Véranda from 2004 to 2012. She also works with Betty Bonifassi, through her participation in the recording of LOMAX, an album directed by Jesse Mac Cormack. She is part of the cast of the show SLAV, directed by Robert Lepage. Furthermore, she created the group for parents and children, Dégueu ça pue, whose music videos went completely viral.
Since 2015, Myriam also maintains her solo project. Under the pseudonym La Fille à Raymond, she releases her second EP Grosse peine in December 2020. To bring this vision to life, she produces the virtual-lunch show La fille à Raymond présente : Grosse peine, in collaboration with Vision Diversité. It was performed in the théâtre Outremont in front of seven cameras, and web-broadcasted right in the heart of the pandemic. Myriam released her first album Toutes des histoires vraies in 2023.
