Michel-Maxime Legault graduated from the Quebec’s Dramatic arts Conservatory. He is the co-founder of the Marée Haute Theatre for which he has signed the direction of Cr#%# d’oiseau cave, Centre d’achats, Ce que nous avons fait, Irène sur Mars, Parfois, la nuit, je ris tout seul, Kvetch, Rhapsodie-Béton, Top dogs and Kick. He has also directed the plays Le roi danse, Verdict, Entre Ciel et Mer (Cirque Eloize), Il Trovatore (Opéra de Montréal), Les bâtisseurs d’Empire ou le Schmürz, Savoir Compter, Comment je suis devenue touriste, Les conjoints, Zaza d’abord as well as many summer theatres.

Since 2005, he has played in many plays including Et puis, par la fenêtre, nous pourrons voir les champs, Vermine Radieuse, Dans ma maison de papier, j'ai des poèmes sur le feu, Les Savants, Vie et Mort du Roi Boiteux, Cock, Les Jumeaux Vénitiens, De l'Amour et des Restes Humains, Le Père Noël est une ordure, Piaf and recently on television in Les Beaux Malaises 2.0. We have also seen him in Lâcher Prise, Pure Laine, Les pieds dans la Marge and Toute la Vérité.

Due to Michel-Maxime’s classical piano training from the Vincent-D’Indy Musical School, he teaches opera stage performance and frequently works with the Montreal Symphonic Orchestra as a director. He is also a guest acting teacher in various theatre schools in Quebec.

Recently, Michel-Maxime travelled throughout Quebec after having presented his play Michelin at the Denise-Pelletier Theatre’s Fred Barry Hall. His novel of the same name was published at the Quartz Editions.
