Linda Sorgini has accumulated roles on stage, on the small screen as much as on the big screen for more than 35 years. She has participated to more than 40 productions, notably Dans l’ombre d’Hemmingway (Th. Jean Duceppe, 2011), Le Dindon (TNM, 2012), Judy Garland, la fin d’une étoile (Th. Jean-Duceppe, 2015) in which she played the title-role and La bonne âme du Se-tchouan (TNM, 2017). Chanteuse de talent, elle a participé à plusieurs comédies musicales dont Un violon sur le toit (2010) et Sister Act (2014). Talented singer, she has been part of a multitude of musicals, remarkably Un violon sur le toit (2010) and Sister Act (2014).
On television, she embodied for multiple years the role of Susan Morton in L’auberge du chien noir (SRC) as well as the character of Gin Thouin in the popular series Au secours de Béatrice (TVA). She has also held important roles in Smash (SRC), 30 vies (SRC), Toute la vérité (TVA), La promesse (TVA), François en série (Séries+), Plan B (Séries+), Cérébrum (SRC), Alertes (TVA) and Avant le crash (SRC).
In 2019 she was on the Rideau Vert’s stage for Le Schpountz, in 2020 at the TNM in the musical Nelligan, and then back at the Rideau Vert, the next year with Adieu Monsieur Hafmann.We will have the chance to see her again in theatre, in 2024 with Coup de vieux directed by Claude Poissant.
