Gabriel-Antoine Roy

Graduating from the National Theater School of Canada in performance, Gabriel-Antoine Roy is a young performer who is developing in theater and dance.

Curious by nature, he took part in several dance and acting courses (cinema, presence, puppet, mask and clown). This gives him the opportunity to rub shoulders with various artists such as Nicolas Cantin, Peter James, Mélanie Pilon, Peter Schumann, 7Starr, Stéphane Crête and Frédérick Gravel. In addition, he has participated in numerous creations as part of the Fringe, the Soir festival and the SERRE.

Gabriel-Antoine contributes as a performer to several creations such as Tu es Nora by Hugo Fréjabise, Guédailles by Catherine Jeanne-d'Arc and Oiseaux by Marie-Christine Lee-Hû. Furthermore, we saw him on stage  with Christian Lapointe in Les Beaux-Dimanches, at the La Chapelle theater, in Anne-Sophie Rouleau's tour with Album de finissant and in the production 100 secondes avant minuit, by Michelle Parent at the Théâtre aux écuries. He is also a performer and dancer in the play Parcours On/Off by Jacques Poulin-Denis and landed the role of L’autre in Sur la disparition des os dans le corps.

Gabriel-Antoine also has a great capacity for ideation, he shows this in the play Mains moites, in which he performs as well as having created, under the direction of Brigitte Haentjens and Catherine Gaudet in 2023. He is also co-creator and performer of On n'est pas des trous du culs, a play presented at Espace Libre dating from 2020. In a collaboration with Étienne Lou, he created the play La Grande Masquerade, in which he converges his talents through an interdisciplinary performance, unveiled at the Théâtre La Chapelle in 2024.

In cinema, he plays JP in the horror comedy by Ariane Louis-Seize Vampire Humaniste cherche suicidaire consentant. We also see him on the small screen, in the series Faits Divers, Tout la vie and Après.
