In addition to graduating in cinema from Concordia University with honorary mentions, Dominic Goyer completed a director’s formation in Inis’s 2006 Television program.
His first short film, Une robe blanche, was selected in the official competition of the Huesca Film Festival, as well as in the Tübingen/Stuttgart and in more than a dozen festivals. Notably, Berlin Festival - Interfilm where he received a special mention from the jury. His last short, Notre nature, received the ARRQ Prize for best staging at the Fantasia festival.
L’origine des espèces, Dominic’s first feature film, premiered at the Nouveau Cinéma festival. While the international premiere happened at the Palm Springs International Film Festival, it was nominated at the Iris of Gala Québec Cinéma. He is currently working on an adaptation of the novel Match by Lili Boisvert, in collaboration with the author (Attraction).In addition, three new film projects in writing have received the support of the Sodec and/or Téléfilm : Les hérétiques, Kromfohrländer, and Cygnets.
For television, Dominic Goyer is finishing the script of his first series, Anticosti, which he co-wrote with Guy Édoin (Sphère Média). The shooting is planned to begin in autumn 2024. Two other television series projects are in the works with Attraction, in collaboration with Stéphanie Labbée.

RemYx, Radio-Canada’s first interactive fiction web-series, which was nominated at the Canadian New Media Awards in the “Best Online Program, Series or Film” category. As well as at La Rochelle’s WebTV or “Best fiction web-series” and at the Gémeaux Awards for “Best original program or series produced for new media: drama, humor, variety or animation”
