Carla Turcotte traces her path since 2008, first taking on feature-film roles for Rafaël Ouellet (New Denmark, 2008 and Finissant(e)s, 2013). She then continues in the world of cinema in La Peur de l’eau (G. Pelletier), L’Affaire Dumont (Podz), Camion (R. Ouellet), Sarah préfére la course (C. Robichaud), Amsterdam (S. Milijevic) and L’été (P.-L. Latulippe).
Her participation in several short films is significant, in particular with Maxime Giroux for Québec Cinéma, and Stéphane Monkarzel for Black Friday. She also played Chloé in Steve Kerr’s film, La chasse au collet, and invested her body and soul through the skin of Sasha, for the film Sashinka, produced by Art et essai and directed by Kristina Wagenbauer.
On the small screen, Carla offers us remarkable performances: Alice in L’Auberge du chien noir, Johanne in Blue Moon, Maude in Jérémie , Sarah in Sur-Vie , without forgetting the lover Sandy in Unité 9 as well as her memorable participation in the web series Féminin/Féminin (C. Robichaud). We saw her as well in District 31, and in the show Les invisibles. Recently, she moved us in Mégantic, she also appears in Aller Simple, STAT and Portrait Robot to name a few.
