Both a host, director, editor, producer, television music composer, and writer, Sébastien Diaz has garnered nearly thirty Gémeaux Awards for the various shows he has created, hosted, and directed.
Among his cherished projects are the cultural magazine shows VOIR, Formule Diaz, and L’Effet Wow, as well as the family-oriented magazine Format Familial, which he co-created and co-hosted with his wife, Bianca Gervais. He is also the creative force behind the horror web series Terreur 404 on ICI Tou.tv, which gained international acclaim and won awards at numerous festivals. The series was also acquired by France Télévision.
More recently, Sébastien co-created and directed the documentary series Crevée! and EN CRISSE, both broadcast on ICI Tou.tv. He also directed the musical road movie Au travers de la route, celebrating Vincent Vallières’ 25-year career, which will air on Télé-Québec in 2025.
A graduate in film studies from Concordia University, Sébastien began his career as a journalist for various publications such as L’Actualité, Urbania, 7 Jours, and Reader’s Digest. A columnist for Nightlife Magazine and the weekly Voir, he also authored the book Montréal Kitsch, published by Les Éditions La Presse in 2009. In April 2023, he released his first horror novel, Ils finiront bien par t’avoir, published by Québec Amérique, which quickly became a bestseller.
Since September 2019, he has been hosting the daily show On va se le dire on ICI Radio-Canada Télé and is currently involved in several projects as a producer with Fait Maison Production, the company he co-founded with Bianca Gervais.
