As a host, director, editor, producer, and television music composer, as well as an author, Sébastien Diaz has garnered nearly thirty Gémeaux awards for the various shows he has created, hosted, and directed.

Among his favorite projects, we think of the cultural magazines VOIR, Formule Diaz, and L’Effet Wow, as well as the family magazine Format Familial, which he co-created and co-hosted with his wife, Bianca Gervais. He is also behind the horror web series Terreur 404 on ICI Tou.tv, which has made its way around the world and won awards at several festivals. The series was also acquired by France Télévision. More recently, Sébastien co-created and directed the documentary series Crevée! on ICI Tou.tv and directed the musical road movie Au travers de la route, celebrating Vincent Vallières’ 25-year career, which aired on Télé-Québec.

A graduate in cinema from Concordia University, Sébastien first started as a journalist for several publications such as L’Actualité, Urbania, 7 Jours, and Sélection du Reader’s Digest. A columnist for Nightlife Magazine and the weekly Voir, he also published the book Montréal Kitsch with Les Éditions La Presse in 2009. In April 2023, he released his first horror novel titled Ils finiront bien par t'avoir with Les Éditions Québec Amérique, which quickly became a bestseller.

Since September 2019, he has been hosting the daily show On va se le dire on ICI Radio-Canada Télé and is currently working on several projects as a producer with the company Fait Maison Production, which he co-founded with Bianca Gervais.
