Since graduating from the National Theatre School of Canada in 2017, Rodley Pitt has been making a name for himself in film, television and theater. His first small-screen role was in the series Hubert et Fanny, directed by Mariloup Wolfe. He went on to appear in the TV series Les honorables, L'ascenseur, Mon fils, Épidémie, Les beaux malaises 2.0 and Discussion avec mes parents. He defends roles in Lou et Sophie, Les oubliettes and Manuel de la vie sauvage, a series produced by KOTV and directed by Christian Laurence.
Rodley can be seen on the big screen in the film Avant qu'on explose by Éric K. Boulianne and directed by Rémi St-Michel. He can also be seen in Jean-François Leblanc's next film, Vil et Misérable, a comic strip adapted for the big screen. He made a name for himself on stage at Théâtre des Hirondelles in the summer comedy Forfait tout inclus coup de soleil en sus, then went on to star in Splendide Jeunesse, Stop Kiss and M'appelle Mohamed Ali, a hard-hitting play by La Sentinelle, the first Afro-descendant francophone company, presented at the FTA, Théâtre Quat'sous, then reprised at Théâtre du Nouveau Monde before touring to Théâtre La Vieille 17 in Ottawa and Théâtre Diamant in Quebec City. He will also headline the next co-production of the Grand Théâtre de Québec and the Théâtre du Nouveau Monde, Othello, in spring 2025.
Rodley is also very active in dubbing and overdubbing. He lends his voice to Deon Derrico, father of 14 in Welcome to the Derricos. He can also be heard in the title role of The American Society of Magic Blacks.
