Michel-Maxime Legault is a graduate of the Quebec Conservatory of Dramatic Arts. He
is the co-founder of the Theatre de la Marée Haute for which he has directed the
productions Ce que nous avons fait, Irène sur Mars (with Jean-Lehoux), Parfois, la nuit,
je ris tout seul (with Marcel Pomerlo), Kvetch, Rhapsodie-Béton, Top dogs and Kick. He
also directed Moi et l'Autre, Stop the tempo, Comment je suis devenu touriste, Menteur,
Le spectateur condamné à mort, Les conjoints, Les grosses geishas, Warwick and À la
recherche d'Elvis, presented at the Cascades Theater. Since 2005, he was also in several
plays as an actor, including Dans ma maison de papier, J'ai des poèmes sur le feu, Les
Savants, Vie et Mort du Roi Boiteux, Cock, Les Savants, Les Jumeaux Vénitiens, De
l'Amour et des Restes Humains, Le Père Noël est une ordure and Piaf, among others.
On television, we've seen him in Lâcher Prise, Pure Laine, Les pieds dans la Marge and
Toute la Vérité. He is also a graduate of a ninth year in classical piano at the Vincent-
d'Indy School of Music. He taught operatic stage interpretation at the Laval University
and the Sherbrooke University. He is also a guest interpretation teacher at the St-
Hyacinthe Cegep Theatre School and the National Theatre School of Canada.
