Erika Soucy was born in Portneuf-sur-Mer, on Quebec’s North Shore. A writer and actress, she graduated from the Conservatoire d’art dramatique de Québec in 2010. She has published three poetry collections and adapted her debut novel, Les murailles, for the stage. The play was presented at Le Périscope (Quebec City), La Licorne (Montreal), and toured across a dozen venues. Her upcoming book, La maison cachette, a graphic novel for young readers created in collaboration with illustrator Geneviève Bigué, will be published by La Pastèque.
Erika Soucy primarily earns her living as a screenwriter. She wrote Les Perles, a series broadcast on TVA and Club Illico, and co-wrote several episodes of the series Léo. She is currently developing the screenplay for La version qui n’intéresse personne with Couronne Nord.
