Since his professional debut, Éric Cabana has appeared in over thirty television productions such as Sous le signe du lion, La Vie, la vie, Temps dur, Les Soeurs Elliot, Tout sur moi, Les Hauts et les bas de Sophie Paquin and most recently, Toute la vérité, 30 Vies, District 31, Hôtel, STAT and Motel Paradis. Meanwhile, young audiences know him as Dundee from the highly popular children's show Cornemuse (1998-2003). In addition, he was the host and the narrator of the documentary series Erreurs médicales on Canal Vie.
On stage, with over forty plays in his credit, Éric was directed by renowned directors such as André Brassard (Le Ruban, Les Paravents, Richard III, Six personnages en quête d'auteur and Jusqu'au Colorado), Robert Lepage (Le songe d'une nuit d'été - A Midsummer Night’s Dream), Denise Guilbault (La reine morte), Daniel Roussel (Equus) and Reynald Robinson (Mon héros Oussama and Une heure de tranquilité).
Eric made his film debut in Cruising Bar. Eighteen years later, he was given a role in the sequel of this huge success by Claude Ménard and Michel Côté: Cruising Bar 2. Still on the big screen, he was a part of the cast in Denis Langlois’s feature films L’Escorte and Danny in the sky, among others, and most recently under the direction of François Bouvier in La Bolduc and in La Cordonnière.
In addition to his acting endeavours, he teaches at the National Theatre School of Canada where he also holds the title of assistant artistic director. Also a dancer, Éric was directed by the Quebec choreographer Daniel Léveillé in shows like Traces and L'Exile ou la mort.
