Upon graduating from the Saint-Hyacinthe College Theatre School in 2000, Annie went on to perform several theatrical productions and musicals. She founded her own theatre company, the Party de cuisine group, for which she co-wrote, produced and performed two plays: Six mois avant Noël (Fred Barry Hall, 2004) and L'air et la chanson (La Chapelle, 2007). 

She is also very active in the dubbing community, lending her voice to actresses like Ellen Page, Kate Mckinnon and Kristen Stewart, as well as working on numerous cartoons and animated films (Rio, Bakugan, DC League of Super-Pets, etc.) .

Annie Girard is also a singer-songwriter and has three albums to her credit (under the name of Nini Marcelle): Je marche dans mes pas (2012), Passer la frontière EP (2014) and À nous la beauté (2017).

Since 2018, Annie has performed on slam stages across Canada and won the first place at SlaMontréal in 2021-2022. She also has a book of poetry to her credit, Prodigieux Perdants.
